The Chisholm Trail is a Single Action Shooting competition held at Captain's Moutain near Millmerran. Organisers and competitors attempt to preserve, promote, and respect the skills, traditions, and pioneering spirit of the historic American Old West. The competition sees those involved dress in costumes of the period, and take on special names for the week. 2024 Australasian International championships celebrating the the 25th Chisolm Trail.September29 - October 6, 2024.

HARKING back to the pre-Old West era, the Rendezvous event pays homage to hunters, fur trappers, explorers and pioneers who opened up much of the frontiers of North America, Africa and Australasia during the Golden Age of muzzleloading firearms from 1500 to 1865.
